The idea for SIK Properties grew from real experiences – people struggling to manage building projects, tenants or family homes in Kenya while living overseas.
Messages went unanswered, small issues became bigger problems and it was not always clear who was responsible for what. We saw a need for a more organised, accountable way to support property owners who are not physically present.
Today, SIK Properties exists to fill that gap, bringing structure and consistency to how properties are managed on behalf of owners abroad.
We keep things as simple and transparent as possible. We agree with you what we will do, how often we will update you and how decisions will be made.
We aim to communicate in a straightforward way, avoiding jargon and making sure you feel comfortable asking questions at any point.
We support people from different backgrounds – from those with a single family home to those with several properties. Some live in the UK, others in Europe, the Middle East or further afield.
What they share is a connection to Kenya and a wish to have their property looked after properly, even when they cannot be there themselves.
We do not replace your relationship with your property or your family. Instead, we aim to make the practical side easier – so you worry less about the day-to-day and can focus on the bigger picture.
As more people live and work internationally while maintaining ties to Kenya, we expect the need for this kind of support to grow. Our focus is on growing steadily while keeping our service personal and reliable.
We are always happy to have an initial conversation, with no obligation, to understand your situation and explain how we might be able to help.
